Richard Hunter Elected Warden of Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam, New York
Richard Hunter was elected Warden of Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam, New York, for a two year term beginning January 2012. Mr. Hunter, together with his wife, Carol, and three teenage children, is a long-time member of Trinity, where he has also served on the Vestry, and was instrumental in the completion of an $ 850,000 capital campaign, including construction of a new education-focused addition to the Parish Hall. He has also served as parish webmaster for a number of years.
Church Wardens are generally responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parish. including administration, plant operations, and personnel. Wardens are considered the leading lay member of the congregation.
